Anonymous asked: Hi can you post more pictures of fabrizio moretti and drew? I think they made such a great couple! Do you know how they met and/or why they broke up?
Great request, we loved them together as well! We don’t post as many photos of them as we’d like to because they opted not to walk many red carpets together during their relationship. The vast majority of pictures we have are paparazzi shots, which we try not to post. But we’ve queued one up for you that will post tomorrow and saved a few drafts as well. Keep watching our Fab tag!
The two of them met in April 2002, backstage at Coachella (where The Strokes were playing). The following day, they were together at a memorial event for Randy Castillo, which is where the above photo was taken. Despite a quick breakup later that year, they ended up being together through the end of 2006, making it Drew’s longest relationship to date.
As far as their breakup goes, not many details are known. Here’s what she had to say to Glamour magazine about it at the time:
"When the going gets tough, I don’t run. But sometimes you come to a point where there’s nothing more you can do. You love and respect each other, but it’s not working. So you amicably decide to part. I don’t know what the future holds: a lot of people get back together after they break up. We could go our separate ways and work out some of our problems and come back together with a fresh perspective. But first you have to break the patterns you’re in, that aren’t letting the relationship function properly. I always leave a relationship with a sense of hope."
It’s true that for awhile, Drew wasn’t interested in taking on any new acting roles (she completed her most recent one for Big Miracle in 2010 before she started dating her husband Will). But the good news is that she is currently in South Africa filming a new movie called Blended, co-starring none other than Adam Sandler! More information can be found at IMDb.
kentjmac asked: Which of Drew Barrymore's movies would you recommend buying on Blu-ray? I've been considering upgrading some of my collection if the special features are worth it and would be interested in your input. Thanks!! <3
Hi Kent! Well unfortunately almost all of Drew’s movies that are on Blu-ray only contain special features imported from the DVDs, so you’re not missing much. We recommend Scream on Blu-ray for the vast improvement in picture and aspect ratio. Also Going the Distance and Big Miracle have some decent features that aren’t available on the DVDs.
We love to dream about newly released versions of movies like Ever After and Never Been Kissed containing deleted scenes, featurettes, and Drew commentaries but who knows if that will ever happen!
That is a really great question that we had actually never considered before. So we did some digging around and sadly it does not appear that Little Girl Lost was ever translated into any other languages. It’s not even available as an e-book at this time. However you can request a Kindle version on Amazon (on the right under the buying options) and they will send that along to the publisher. Hopefully if enough people request it, they’ll be motivated to put one out and then perhaps it would be translatable!
Anonymous asked: Hey there! I love your blog! I was wondering if you knew Drew's height and weight? She looks like a 'normal' person and I mean this nicely. She's a truly wonderful role model! - Thanks!
Hello and thanks! ♥ We know what you mean - Drew is definitely normal, especially compared to Hollywood’s standards. Drew officially states that she is 5’4” but we think she’s a bit shorter than that. We don’t know her current weight but can tell you that she is teeny tiny in person! Many people who see her in real life remark on how petite she is. And of course we agree that she is an incredible role model!
Anonymous asked: Hi love your blog! Want to get your view on something somewhat controversial. Around early 2000s I started noticing that Drew looked different. Specifically her nose. I dismissed it for a long time but recently the more pictures I study the more I can tell that there is a definite change of shape there. To the point where I'm almost certain she's had a nose job. She's still beautiful but I think it has changed the look of her face and was unnecessary. Have you noticed this or think it's true?
Thanks for the blog love! Sorry, but we’re not seeing what you are. Drew’s face has changed very little over the years, even since she was a child. Here are a couple of comparison photos:
2000 vs 2013
1998 vs 2011
It would be extremely out of character for Drew to secretly have had work done, not to mention that she takes an incredible amount of pride in the having the famous “Barrymore Profile”. Most likely any changes you’ve noticed can be attributed to aging, weight loss/gain, lighting, or makeup.
Anonymous asked: i'm a huuuuge drew fan so when she released an inexpensive cosmetic line i was all over that! i bought black eyeliner and mascara to just test a couple of the products before i bought a bunch at once. i hate saying this but i'm very unimpressed with the quality. i was just wondering if you had tested the products yet and what you thought of them.
Oh that’s too bad! We’ve had great experiences with Flower Beauty products (and we’ve tried out a TON of stuff as they sent us a bunch of goodies). We’ve been reading lots of reviews and they are mostly very positive. But there have been a couple people who have reported getting flawed items.
You should give the lip products a try - people across the board seem to bevery happy with those. We especially adore the lip butters!
Anonymous asked: what do you think about the breaking news of drew & adam teaming up again for a third romcom??
We are THRILLED! Just the news that Drew is signed on to star in a new film is exciting enough, but the fact that it’s with Adam is icing on the cake. They have the best chemistry and we are big fans of both of their past collaborations!
Anonymous asked: Have you ever seen that Saturday Morning Cartoons special Drew did with all the 90s alternative bands? I think it was 1995
But of course! We both have it on vhs and adore it. The official name is Saturday Morning Cartoons’ Greatest Hits and yep, it’s from 1995. It basically consists of Drew sitting around with some friends (including her producing partner Nancy Juvonen) being goofy and watching music videos of 90s bands covering cartoon theme songs.
We have a few screencaps from it here on our Tumblr. You can also find several videos from it on YouTube if you search by song/artist (full list here). Here’s a cute one from the beginning of the special:
Anonymous asked: Drew Barrymore has to join the ranks of tights with shorts and the amount of sugar appropriate in tea on the List Of Things My Boyfriend And I Will Never Agree On. I adore her and think she's lovely. He can't stand her. You might say there's Irreconcilable Differences at play...
Can’t stand Drew? We’re thinking it may be time to reevaluate your relationship ;)
Sorry about the lack of posts this week, it’s been a busy one for us. We’ll be back in full swing on Monday!
