In 1995, Drew formed her own production company Flower Films with her former assistant Kim Greitzer (who would part ways the following year) and her new partner Nancy Juvonen. They “did their homework” on the films Drew starred in over the course of the next few years and then released their first official production, Never Been Kissed, in 1999 to much success. They have gone on to produce numerous movies, tv shows, and more including both Charlie’s Angels movies, Donnie Darko, 50 First Dates, and He’s Just Not That Into You.
In 2013 after 2 years of secretly working, Drew’s makeup line Flower Beauty was released in Walmart stores. Her goal was to change the business model - instead of spending money on advertising, all funds went towards formulas and packaging so that women could purchase high quality cosmetics at more affordable prices. The beauty line already has an incredible fanbase and promises to continue growing!
Anonymous asked: Have you ever seen that Saturday Morning Cartoons special Drew did with all the 90s alternative bands? I think it was 1995
But of course! We both have it on vhs and adore it. The official name is Saturday Morning Cartoons’ Greatest Hits and yep, it’s from 1995. It basically consists of Drew sitting around with some friends (including her producing partner Nancy Juvonen) being goofy and watching music videos of 90s bands covering cartoon theme songs.
We have a few screencaps from it here on our Tumblr. You can also find several videos from it on YouTube if you search by song/artist (full list here). Here’s a cute one from the beginning of the special:
